Issue Stances
Water Policy
SupportsBiggs campaigns on 'Restore Sensible Water Policy' and allied Arizona Republicans have praised his work on water rights. His platform offers less technical detail than Hobbs or Neely on specific supply mechanisms or in-state conservation strategies.
Education Funding
OpposesBiggs opposes federal education mandates including Common Core and supports local control of schools. He has voted against anti-bullying requirements in schools and opposes one-size-fits-all federal education policies.
"I will work to free our local school districts from federal mandates and one-size-fits-all policies, like Common Core. Our children's education is simply too important to be left to failed federal policies."
Border Security & Immigration
SupportsBiggs is a hardline immigration restrictionist who prioritizes deportation of undocumented criminals and opposes any pathway to citizenship. He supports executive authority to ban immigration from non-cooperating countries and has co-sponsored legislation targeting violent undocumented immigrants.
"American exceptionalism requires enforcing immigration laws. Pass Grant's Law to protect innocent U.S. citizens from violent illegal immigrants."
Housing Affordability
SupportsBiggs supports a deregulatory, market-supply approach to housing: lower costs through less government interference rather than state subsidies or housing-trust-fund expansion. He has advanced federal legislation to reduce competition in the housing market from people in the country illegally.
Election Integrity
SupportsBiggs opposed the 2020 election certification and sought to overturn results based on pandemic voting rules. He opposes same-day voter registration, automatic voter registration, and expanded mail-in voting access, and voted against the For the People Act twice.
"Opposed same-day voter registration, as election officials have no time to verify the accuracy of voter registration."
Healthcare Access
OpposesBiggs supports full repeal of the Affordable Care Act and opposes federal vaccine mandates. He has criticized Congress for exempting itself from the ACA's requirements and supports free-market healthcare alternatives.
"Congress should [live] under the laws it creates."
Public Safety & Criminal Justice
SupportsBiggs runs on a law-and-order platform: fully funding public safety, cracking down on human and drug traffickers, and enacting tougher sentencing and anti-cashless-bail measures. He is a strong Second Amendment supporter who opposes gun control legislation, arguing firearm rights and public safety are complementary.
"Universal background checks would do little to prevent firearm violence and would instead make it more difficult for law-abiding citizens to purchase firearms."
Energy Policy
OpposesBiggs opposes greenhouse gas emission regulations and has voted against rural electric renewable energy assistance. He supports deregulation and opposes EPA rulemaking he views as economically harmful.
"Onerous rules and regulations perpetrated by faceless, unaccountable bureaucrats are crushing our productivity and devastating our economy."
Economic Development & Jobs
SupportsBiggs is a fiscal conservative who supports cutting taxes on families and businesses, shrinking government spending, and balancing the federal budget. He opposes tax increases under any circumstances.
"Cutting taxes and regulations on families and businesses."
Reproductive Rights
OpposesBiggs is strongly pro-life and has co-sponsored multiple abortion restrictions including fetal personhood legislation and parental consent requirements. He supported requiring doctors to inform patients that medication abortion is reversible.
"Doctors must tell women drug-induced abortion is reversible."
