Flavio Bravo

Candidate for Arizona State Senate – District 26

Arizona · Legislative District 26

Statement

My name is Flavio Bravo, and I have the great privilege of serving as your State Senator. I was first elected to the Arizona State Legislature in November 2022, and I am committed to working across the aisle in a bipartisan fashion and remain focused on the issues most important to you all, such as making housing more affordable, expanding education and job opportunities, and prioritizing public safety within our neighborhoods. Born and raised in west Phoenix, I strongly believe that our families shouldn't have to sacrifice personal safety for affordability. This year, I collaborated with the cities of Phoenix and Glendale and led legislation preventing prostitution and sex trafficking along 27th avenue and the I-17 corridor by elevating the penalties on the buyers of prostitution. This legislation required collaboration across law enforcement, victim advocates, and survivors of sex trafficking. While it is one step towards addressing a major issue in our district, I will continue to support legislation that reduces crime and combats drugs on our streets. As I seek re-election, I humbly ask for your support so that I can continue to fight for a more just and livable future for all Arizonans.
