Iman Bah
Candidate for U.S. House of Representatives - District 6
Arizona · Congressional District 6
Statement
I am a working man fighting for the working class. I know the struggle because I live the struggle. The fact that hardworking and disciplined people these days struggle just to get through the month and often cannot afford to have healthcare or own their own home is evidence enough that the promise of the American Dream, as we grew up knowing it, is faltering. I do not believe it is difficult to grant men and women who are already contributing to society at large a dignified standard of living is difficult, I just believe our values and priorities are out of order. I believe pettiness, small-minded thinking, and an inability to think long term has made things seem more difficult than they actually are. Competition, generally speaking, is good and healthy, yet, however, cooperation is an incredibly powerful force and it is imperative that we all begin to thin win-win on a large and grandiose scale. With as bountiful and blessed this country is, no one who commits to working and contributing to his or her community should have to struggle to make ends meet; no one. The sooner we agree on this, the sooner we all win!!
