Statement
Nick Myers has delivered measurable results for Arizona ratepayers by focusing on affordability, reliability, and accountability at the Corporation Commission. He has led efforts to remove costly mandates that drove up utility bills by $3 billion, while advancing policies that ensure new growth, especially large energy users like data centers, pays for itself rather than shifting costs onto Arizona families. Myers has been a voice for consumers by cutting over $1 billion (and climbing) from current utility rates. Myers has been a leading voice in strengthening grid reliability and supporting pragmatic energy, water, and gas solutions that keep utilities affordable and available as Arizona continues to grow. His work has helped position Arizona as a stable, investment-friendly state for critical infrastructure and development. He has also taken a firm stance on transparency and regulatory reform, working to improve how decisions are communicated and ensuring the public has a clearer understanding of how rates are set and why. He spearheaded efforts that led to commissioners' votes being made public and easily researched online. Known for his independent approach, Myers focuses on practical solutions over politics, prioritizing dependable service, responsible oversight, and long-term cost savings for Arizona consumers.
