Raymond Keeler
Candidate for U.S. House of Representatives - District 8
Arizona · Congressional District 8
Statement
I am a registered Democrat and a MODERATE on most issues. It depends on the issue. I was a traditional Republican for 30 years, then an Independent for the last 18 years. I am fiscally responsible. Improving water stability in Arizona, affordability (electricity, food, housing), secure borders, secure voting, public schools support and health care are key. The Bell Curve is an excellent tool. I will be happy to work with those in the middle part of the bell curve, and try to understand people’s positions. I believe that moderates, stepping forward, can better govern for the majority of us in this district. I will listen, and try to stay on the subject being discussed. Most of my time should be spent trying to help make people’s lives better. I have been living in Congressional District 8 (CD8) for 41 years. The current CD8 representative does not live here, and is inadequate for representing many of us. He has not held a Town Hall meeting since being sworn in. Arizona is in a multi-decade drought. Water is a particular concern. More water (desalinization) needed to support our economic development. The website is up: https://keeler4AZ.com
