As a lifelong resident of Avondale, I am deeply honored to serve my community and represent the voices of Legislative District 22. Over the past eight years as a City Council Member, I have had the privilege of working alongside residents, local leaders, and community organizations to address important issues and create meaningful, positive changes. My background in education and long-standing community involvement have shaped my commitment to fostering opportunity, strengthening families, and ensuring every voice is heard. Through my service on various local, state, and national committees, I have gained valuable experience advocating public safety, economic development, and policies that improve quality of life. I believe in transparent, accessible, and collaborative leadership. Our community deserves representation that listens, engages, and delivers results. I am committed to building a stronger, more inclusive future where residents feel connected, supported, and empowered. Serving Avondale has been an incredible journey, and I am ready to continue that work at the state level, bringing the same dedication, experience, and passion to Legislative District 22.

Biography

Veronica Bejarano-Malone is a dedicated public servant and lifelong resident of Avondale running for Legislative District 22. She was elected to the Avondale City Council in 2016 and re-elected in 2021, serving as Vice Mayor from 2021 to 2022. With 20 years of experience in education, she currently works as a Special Project Technician in the Littleton Elementary School District. Veronica has represented Avondale on numerous local, state, and national committees. A proud wife and mother of three, she is committed to transparent leadership, community engagement, and ensuring every voice in her district is heard.
