Biography
Alan Aversa is the No Labels Party nominee for Arizona's 3rd Congressional District in 2026. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in physics and astronomy and has since taught physics and computer programming in classrooms, online, and to homeschool students; his campaign site says he currently works as a substitute teacher for charter schools. In 2022 he ran for the Phoenix Union High School District governing board in Ward 2. His campaign platform centers on opposition to abortion, parental choice in education, local and sustainable farming, and opposition to U.S. involvement in and funding of foreign wars. A Fox 10 Phoenix explainer noted that his candidacy does not appear on the No Labels Party of Arizona's list of endorsed candidates. He ran unopposed in the July 21, 2026 No Labels Party primary and faces Democratic incumbent Yassamin Ansari, Green Party nominee David Redkey, and Republican write-in candidate Jacob Parkman in the November 3, 2026 general election.
