Brian Calaway
Candidate for Arizona State House – District 10
Arizona · Legislative District 10
Statement
I am a former science educator that realized around 2010 that we were not cultivating the skills in our children for them to create society with our values in mind. So I left teaching and began running after school enrichment programs for parents who wanted their children to have these skills. And now, I not only want future generations but our generation to have a society and a connected community that can provide them with jobs, housing, and education. My beliefs stem from FDR's second bill of rights which believes we should all have access to education, jobs, housing, food, healthcare (Not sick Care), and everything for us to be successful as humans because economic rights mean economic freedom for all. www.BrianCalaway.com
Biography
As an Arizona native with 25+ year's in mesa who is a state party member of the Arizona Democratic party, last fall I wrote a resolution that passed unanimously to change the Arizona Democratic party's platform to FDR's second bill of economic rights to be the core of our messaging! The next step was to further empower this message and run for the state house to bring economic freedom for all!
