Statement
I'm running for the Arizona Senate to bring commonsense, bipartisan solutions to the big issues impacting Arizona families. As your State Senator, I will work to secure Arizona's water future, making homeownership affordable for the generations coming up behind us, invest in our aging infrastructure, work with our universities on innovative ways to close the doctor and nursing shortages across the state. I intend to focus on solutions that benefit all Arizonans and set our state up for long-term success. We need a strong economy, safe neighborhoods, high-quality schools while being fiscally responsible for taxpayers. You can also count on me to bring civility and integrity to the Arizona Capitol. I was raised with the discipline of civic-minded educators and a family rooted in public service including relatives in the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and the Chicago Police and Fire Departments. Giving back to community is a part of who I am. I understand what's at stake for Arizona families and will never stop working to deliver on their behalf.
Biography
Dr. Bridget Fitzgibbons is a board-certified physician with advanced training in psychology, bringing a real-world perspective to the challenges facing Arizona families. She has served as an addictions counselor and public-school consultant, working with educators, administrators, and families to improve outcomes, enhance safety, and build career pathways. She is very active in her community as a small business owner, Flinn-Brown Fellow, and a Mesa Police Academy and Valley Leadership Alum, and board member of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association. Bridget also serves on the Senate President's Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force. She is running to be a voice for all Arizonans.
