Statement
Hi, I am Chris King and I am a dedicated, educated, and proven conservative servant leader running for senate to keep common sense, accountability, and to continue defending freedom in legislative district 17. An Arizonan by choice with deep roots in the community, I understand the daily challenges facing working families, small businesses, and everyday citizens. Governments were designed to protect the rights of their citizens, and I believe they should serve the people, not control nor overburden them. My priorities are clear, protecting parental choice in education, reducing burdensome regulations, growing our economy so every Arizonan can prosper, working with law enforcement to continue securing our border, and defending the Second Amendment. I bring experience in governance and a no-nonsense approach to fight wasteful spending, bureaucratic overreach, and policies which are antithetical to our Arizona values and way of life. I'm committed to integrity, transparency, and putting Arizona first as the heart of everything I do. I will continue being a strong, unwavering voice for liberty, security, and opportunity in our Grand Canyon State. Biography
I'm a retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant and combat veteran who served as an explosive ordnance disposal technician in Iraq, Afghanistan, and around the world. My wife and I have been married for 22 years and in LD 17 for over 21 years. We have two adult children, and four granddaughters. I hold a bachelor's degree in government and public service and master's degrees from the UofA and Liberty University. I've served in multiple leadership roles and currently as an elected school board member. I look forward to serving you and Arizona as the next Senator for LD 17.
