People matter. What we do today, matters. With a long view of history in mind, we can easily discern our trajectory forward. The obvious question is – what do we need to now to provide every avenue of success to future generations? Our response to this question will determine how well we accomplish our mission. Our Arizona State Constitution declares (Article 2, Section 1) "A frequent recurrence to fundamental principles is essential to the security of individual rights and the perpetuity of free government." As well as (Article 2, Section 2) "All political power is inherent in the people, and governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, and are established to protect and maintain individual rights." With this foundation established, put me to work. I will fight for educational freedom, to improve scholastic standards, maintain border integrity, protect our citizens' liberties, and help restore our adherence to values embraced and required by our Constitutional Republic. It is our responsibility to teach future generations how to protect and keep a very rare gift – freedom.
Biography
Christopher Kibbey is a Tucson native and an engineer. He is married and a father, and his family has lived in southern Arizona for decades, working in mining, water and farming, and local business. He attended Pima Community College and the University of Arizona, and during graduate school he lived in Mexico, where he taught. Kibbey ran unopposed in the July 21, 2026 Republican primary for the district's two House seats and faces Democrats Consuelo Hernandez and Miranda Lopez in the November 3, 2026 general election.
