Statement
Mr. Butierez is a wrongfully convicted man who because of Pima County’s corrupt justice system, spent 10 years in prison and 30 years fighting for justice. After being released and losing everyone he knew, he began running with those he met in Prison. He became a homeless drug addict. In 2005, Mr. Butierez began to realize he had gone from a good hardworking man to a homeless drug addict simply because of the individuals in his life. He changed that and sought out new friends and associates. He surrounded himself with business owners and successful people. Today Mr. Butierez Owns Butierez/Express Painting and employees 20-63 people at different times. He helps those willing to help themselves and stands as a symbol of hope.
