Dani is one of us—a working mom, U.S. Navy veteran, and an independent AZ neighbor. She lives in Wittmann with her husband Phillip (Navy vet), their daughter Flora, and the family dogs Sadie & Pepper. Petty Officer Sterbinsky served on the U.S.S. Bainbridge (a destroyer) in the Mediterranean Sea as an “Operations Specialist.” She earned her Bachelor’s in social sciences from the University of Hawaii - West Oahu and a Master’s in industrial organizational psychology from Grand Canyon University. Danielle is NOT a career politician. She is campaigning for public office because Washington elites are out of touch with AZ voters. Sterbinsky is running because we need real results, transparency in government, teamwork, and a focus on people. Dani will listen to AZ, solve problems, be accountable, and represent us! Biography
Danielle "Dani" Sterbinsky is a U.S. Navy veteran, working mother, and certified human resources professional who lives in Wittmann. She served as an operations specialist aboard the destroyer USS Bainbridge in the Mediterranean Sea, and holds a bachelor's degree in social sciences from the University of Hawaii–West Oahu and a master's degree in industrial-organizational psychology from Grand Canyon University. Her campaign focuses on affordability, including down-payment and rental assistance, lower child care and health care costs with a public option, a higher federal minimum wage, and action against corporate consolidation and algorithmic price fixing, along with rural broadband, water and infrastructure. She also supports a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United and expanded rural VA services. After the primary she was endorsed by the Forward Party. She ran unopposed in the July 21, 2026 Democratic primary and faces Republican incumbent Paul Gosar and write-in independent candidates G. Seville Hatch and William Perry in the November 3, 2026 general election.
