Biography
David Farnsworth is a Republican member of the Arizona State Senate representing Legislative District 10 in east Mesa. Born in Mexico City in 1951, he has lived in Arizona since 1952. He owns Farnsworth and Associates and has worked in real estate, auto sales, and distribution, and as a licensed real estate and insurance agent, supervisor, and mechanic. He attended Mesa High School and studied business administration at Mesa Community College. He and his wife, Robin, have seven children and are members of the LDS Church. In the Senate he has chaired committees including Appropriations and Transportation. He ran unopposed in the July 21, 2026 Republican primary and faces Democrat Blair Moses and independent Nick Fierro in the November 3, 2026 general election.
