I'm a work horse whose rural roots are deep and real. I'm a rancher and state leader on issues related to water, agriculture, ranching, and more. Biography
David Cook Sr. is a lifelong Arizonan who owns and operates DC Cattle Company. A former member of the Legislature, he has focused on ranching, agriculture, rural issues, water, education, and transportation and infrastructure funding for roads and bridges in rural Arizona. He and his wife, Diana, have been married since 2000 and have two children. He finished second in the July 21, 2026 Republican primary with about 27% of the vote and, with Rep. Walt Blackman, faces Democratic nominee Samuel Martin and Green Party nominee Richard Grayson in the November 3, 2026 general election.
