I served as a communication instructor at Estrella Mountain Community College, helping students gain practical skills for careers in healthcare, business, and more. With a doctorate from Grand Canyon University, I've seen how education and opportunity can transform lives. Our neighborhoods in Glendale and Phoenix deserve a strong voice in the State House: one grounded in common sense and results. I will work to lower taxes so families keep more of what they earn, expand education options to fit every child's needs, and protect seniors from rising property taxes that threaten their homes. I will also fight wasteful spending and corruption, support law enforcement while ensuring accountability, and promote policies that lower energy costs and strengthen our economy. We must reject backroom deals and put hardworking Arizonans first. Biography
Delores McLaughlin is a former communication instructor at Estrella Mountain Community College and holds a doctorate from Grand Canyon University. She is married to Marcus and continues her family's tradition of church service. Running as a Clean Elections candidate, she lists lower state taxes for low- and middle-income families, expanded education options, protecting seniors from rising property taxes, and reviewing state spending and contracts to reduce corruption as her priorities. McLaughlin ran unopposed in the July 21, 2026 Republican primary for two LD24 House seats and is the only Republican on the general election ballot in the race.
