I am running to continue representing my community because I believe our families deserve more. As a mother of five, I know firsthand that our children need better opportunities and a brighter future. I am committed to showing up, listening, and fighting for every family — not just those with power and influence. I'm running because I believe in the strength of our community and in our ability to build a future where opportunity, dignity, and justice are truly available to all. My priorities include fully funding public education, protecting women's rights, expanding access to healthcare, defending workers' rights, and strengthening civic participation. Representation matters. District 22 deserves a leader who understands the daily realities of its people. I am running for State Representative to bring my lived experience, professional expertise, and unwavering commitment to being your voice at the Arizona State Legislature.
Biography
Dr. Elda Luna-Nájera is a proud Arizonan, social worker, community leader, and lifelong advocate for working families. With a doctorate in social work and decades of service, she has dedicated her life to breaking down barriers and creating pathways of opportunity for those who are too often left behind. Raised in a family that valued hard work, perseverance, and compassion, Dr. Luna-Nájera became the first in her family to earn a doctoral degree — a journey that shaped her deep understanding of the challenges facing immigrant families, working-class communities, and underrepresented voices in Arizona.
