Board certified in Reproductive Health and Infertility, Elizabeth has led initiatives in Arizona and across the globe to improve access to infertility care and to ensure patients receive safe, evidence-based treatment. Biography
Elizabeth Lee is a registered nurse and board-certified patient advocate and the Democratic nominee for Arizona's 5th Congressional District, an open East Valley and Pinal County seat being vacated by Republican Rep. Andy Biggs, who is running for governor. Lee grew up in Ohio and has worked for more than a decade in clinical operations and patient advocacy, specializing in reproductive health and infertility care as a Certified Reproductive Health and Infertility Nurse. She has served as Arizona state chair of the Reproductive Freedom for All Action Council and was in the inaugural class of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine's Policy Fellowship. Her campaign focuses on healthcare access, public school funding, housing affordability, water security and reproductive rights. Endorsements include Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, U.S. Reps. Yassamin Ansari and Adelita Grijalva, Reproductive Freedom for All and, after the primary, the National Women's Political Caucus. The district is heavily Republican; a Democrat has not won more than 41% of the vote there in recent elections. Lee won the July 21, 2026 Democratic primary with 66.0% of the vote over Chris James and Brian Hualde, and faces Republican nominee Mark Lamb in the November 3, 2026 general election.
