Statement
For the past 15 years, I've watched the State Legislature fail to address the everyday issues that matter most to the people who call Arizona home. That's why I'm running to be your state representative. You deserve: - Affordable housing - Affordable and accessible healthcare - Affordable and reliable water and electricity In short–an Arizona we can all afford. I am also committed to ending fraud in the school voucher system so taxpayer dollars are spent on education, not luxury vacations, diamonds, or other abuses. Our public schools deserve our support so they can prepare the next generation to be informed citizens and help attract businesses that rely on a well-educated workforce. It's time for leadership that focuses on real solutions for everyday Arizonans.
Biography
I am a retired Air Force Colonel, who commanded twice, taught future military war planners from all services, and led international communications systems negotiations among NATO countries. After retiring from the Air Force, I continued solving complex challenges and delivering results as a corporate IT consultant in the D.C. area. Southern Arizona has been home base for 50 years. My parents moved here after I left for college, and I visited many times while teaching middle school and serving in the military. In 2008, I moved here to care for my aging mother.
