Already forging a path for success! As of this writing (3.28.26) Rep. Janeen Connolly has passed two bills out of the House and one through a Senate committee. She has signed-on to bills that accomplish the following: Job creation: Consistently voting to grow the Arizona economy, Rep. Connolly has bolstered bills that create jobs locally and across the state. Housing: A fierce advocate for making homes affordable for Arizonans, this year's focus has been on reshaping policy for STR's, helping opponents accept what she calls "appropriate pockets" for middle housing and uncovering the issues behind corporate housing ownership. Biography
Janeen Connolly is a Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives for Legislative District 8, serving since 2025. She retired from SRP as a senior government representative responsible for relations with rural Arizona cities, counties and chambers of commerce, where for 24 years she conducted community engagement on infrastructure projects. She served on Gov. Jane Hull's Task Force on Employment for People with Disabilities. She raised four children while earning degrees from Mesa Community College and ASU and later a master's in communication. She finished second in the July 21, 2026 Democratic primary with about 31% of the vote and, with Rep. Brian Garcia, faces Republican nominee Donald Hawker in the November 3, 2026 general election.
