Biography

Joseph Chaplik is a Republican running for Arizona's 1st Congressional District. He served in the Arizona House of Representatives, first elected in 2020 for LD-23 and re-elected in 2022 for LD-3. A founding member and vice chairman of the Arizona Freedom Caucus, he resigned from the legislature in February 2026 to focus full-time on his congressional campaign. His career background includes serving as president of Joseph Bernard Investment Real Estate, VP/General Manager of XO Communications and Allegiance Telecom, and branch manager at Sprint Communications. His endorsements include Maricopa County Sheriff Jerry Sheridan and 25 current or former state lawmakers.
