Biography
Joshua Ayala was born in Phoenix in 1982 and raised in Laveen, where he attended Southwest School in the Roosevelt district. He is a fourth-generation Arizonan, husband, father, and financial services business owner. His campaign focuses on unity, family, and public safety, including working with city officials and law enforcement to improve police response times in Legislative District 11. He is running as a Clean Elections candidate on a joint Republican slate with State House candidates Cesar Aleman and Joseph Dailey. He ran unopposed in the July 21, 2026 Republican primary and faces Democratic incumbent Catherine Miranda in the November 3, 2026 general election.
