Candidate for Arizona State House – District 2

Arizona · Legislative District 2

Statement

Howdy everyone! I have had the honor of serving in the Arizona House of Representatives for the past six years. I've spent that time fighting against overreaching COVID mandates, lowering taxes, eliminating burdensome regulations, improving housing affordability and, yes, making Pluto the State Planet. I've been chairman of the House Commerce Committee, where I focused on improving economic development and bringing more jobs to the district. Currently, I serve as the chairman of the House Artificial Intelligence & Innovation Committee, where I am helping guide the way on the new digital policy frontier. I want to help this technology be more beneficial to you! I've spent my entire career in public policy. I've worked a combined 12 years at two different state legislatures, including here in Arizona, where I was a policy staffer for the Republican Caucus. I also worked at Americans for Prosperity, a Conservative entity focused on lowering taxes, regulations and shrinking government wherever possible. I'm very proud to say I'm an effective Legislator for our district and I understand how to get the job done. I want to ensure Arizona continues to be friendly for free markets and individual liberties! I look forward to earning your support.

Biography

I was born in Texas, but I am proud to have been living in Arizona since 2015. I am three-time graduate of Arizona State University, earning a bachelor's degree in Political Science; a Master of Public Administration; and a Master of Arts in Global Security. I enjoy reading about history and international affairs, watching as much baseball as possible and taking road trips all over the state. I'm a movie buff and usually always have a random pop culture reference at the ready. I am jovial, considerate and a positive type of person.
