I'm running for State Senate because we deserve leaders who make decisions based on what actually helps people, not politics or special interests. After nearly two decades counseling individuals and families, I've seen how policies affect real lives and where systems fall short. Most Arizonans want the same things: stability, opportunity, and a future we can rely on. I believe in listening first, focusing on what works, and finding practical solutions that improve everyday life. This campaign is about putting people over division and results over rhetoric. I will work with anyone, regardless of party, to move Arizona forward, strengthen our communities, and ensure that our policies serve all Arizonans, not just a select few.
Biography
Laura Huber is a licensed professional counselor and small business owner with more than 17 years in mental health work, including crisis response, psychiatric hospitals, counseling in a jail, outpatient counseling and homeless outreach. She comes from five generations of farmers and ranchers and grew up on wildlife refuges. She is running as a Clean Elections candidate. Her priorities, as described in a Ballotpedia candidate survey, include affordable healthcare and expanded behavioral and mental health services, housing costs, living-wage jobs and workforce training, long-term water planning and conservation, and fully funded public schools with better teacher pay. Huber ran unopposed in the July 21, 2026 Democratic primary and faces incumbent Republican Sen. Tim Dunn in the November 3, 2026 general election.
