Lauren Kuby

Candidate for Arizona State Senate – District 8

Arizona · Legislative District 8

Statement

Senator Lauren Kuby is a proven leader who has spent her career fighting for Arizona's future. Her background in clean energy and climate justice has shaped her public service. Elected to the State Senate in 2024, she represents Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, Phoenix, and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. If you live in this area, you know how important clean air and water are to a thriving community. Everyone in central Arizona deserves an affordable place to live and strong public education. Our state legislature can do more to make Arizona the best place it can be for working families. Here's how: The Legislature must: 1) seize the day—and the sun—to spark a clean energy economy that reduces pollution, creates high-quality jobs, and enhances the lives of Arizonans; 2) Use science-based strategies for water management; 3) Eliminate the expansion of ESA vouchers and reinvest those dollars into public education; 4) Protect immigrant communities and our neighbors; and 5) Halt the erosion of Arizona's Voter Protection Act and PROTECT ARIZONA'S VOTE-BY-MAIL SYSTEM. Vote for our future. Keep Kuby. Learn more at KubyForSenate.com.
