Statement
Too many politicians run for office making promises they never keep. Over my eight years in office, I've done the opposite. I've followed through and delivered while protecting our conservative values. I made Arizona a Second Amendment sanctuary state. I fought to impose life sentences for child sex crimes. I removed toxic food dyes and chemicals from our schools. I empowered law enforcement to arrest and prosecute human smugglers. I supported a flat income tax and worked to prevent government overreach by banning the shutdown of businesses during a pandemic. And when our communities needed results, I got them. When Lake Havasu and Bullhead City needed Highway 95 repaved, I made it happen. When Wickenburg needed funding for its fire station, I secured it. When the Mohave County Sheriff's Department needed to replace 40+ year-old substations, I delivered. When Kingman needed a bypass at Highway 93/I-11 and Beale Street, I got it done. Biography
Leo was born and raised in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, calling it home for 40+ years. Leo earned a BA in Business Administration/Management from UofA(2005) and a Master's in Legal Studies(2024). He's currently the CFO/Owner of Mohave Traffic School. Leo was elected in 2019, serving as Majority Whip(2020–2022) and Majority Leader(2022–2024). He earned Newcomer of the Year(2019) and Legislator of the Year(2021, 2022, 2024). Leo's most notable bills are HB2111-Second Amendment Firearm Freedom Act. HB2889-Life in prison for child sex crime convictions. HB2164-Banning of Ultraprocessed foods/Toxic dyes from schools. Leo and his wife Taylor welcomed their daughter Gianna in 2022.
