Biography
Lloyd Johnson was born in Washington State and has more than 20 years of experience as a maintenance manager; he currently works as maintenance manager for concessions at Petrified Forest National Park. In 1988 he attended the Washington State Republican Convention in Tacoma. He and his wife moved to Arizona in 2011 and made Holbrook their home in 2017; in 2022 both became precinct committeemen with the Navajo County Republican Committee. He has three children and seven grandchildren. His campaign platform supports bringing vocational and trade schools to the region, opposes abortion, supports Second Amendment rights and tighter border control, calls for cleaning voter rolls and reforming vote-by-mail, and opposes wind turbine projects in Arizona. He ran unopposed in the July 21, 2026 Republican primary and faces Democratic nominee Jamescita Peshlakai in the November 3, 2026 general election.
