Statement
Dr. Paul Gosar is a conservative Republican representing Arizona’s Nineth Congressional District and currently serving in his eighth term. He is known as one of the most fiscally and socially conservative members of Congress. As a member of Congress, he has consistently voted to reduce taxes, repeal burdensome regulations and he worked to make America great. His efforts have succeeded. Dr. Gosar continues to work to create more jobs for our families. His efforts have led to thousands of Arizona families living better, with better wages, better health and more opportunities. He's working to keep our families safe by securing the border and works tirelessly for a border wall, and ending the invasion by illegal aliens, criminals and terrorists. and he's reforming government by cutting federal spending and forcing accountability. Paul and his wife Maude have three children and three grand baby girls who light up their life.
Biography
Paul Anthony Gosar is the incumbent U.S. Representative for Arizona's 9th Congressional District (R), first elected to Congress in 2010. Born in Rock Springs, Wyoming in 1958, he earned a B.S. and D.D.S. from Creighton University and practiced as a dentist in Arizona before entering politics. He has represented various Arizona congressional districts over the years (1st 2011–2013, 4th 2013–2023, 9th 2023–present). Known as one of Congress's most conservative members, he was censured by the House in 2021. He is running for re-election in 2026.
