I ran for office as a Constitutional Conservative, you trusted and elected me, and I've gone to work each day and KEPT MY WORD! That means real election integrity measures, secure borders (finishing that wall), criminalizing fentanyl dealers, fighting for affordability, medical freedom, safe neighborhoods, improved highways and transportation (improving I-17), long-term water security, and personal liberty. Biography
Quang Nguyen is a Republican member of the Arizona House of Representatives for Legislative District 1. He was evacuated from Vietnam by the U.S. military one week before the fall of Saigon. He taught himself English, graduated from high school and from Long Beach State, and worked for Northrop Corporation on the F-20 and F-18 programs. He and his wife, Mai, married in 1993 and moved to Arizona in 2004 with their two children; he later started his own business before being elected to the House. He finished second in the July 21, 2026 Republican primary with about 42% of the vote and, with fellow Republican Selina Bliss, faces Democratic nominee Sandy Zalecki in the November 3, 2026 general election for the district's two House seats.
