Rachel Keshel

Rachel Keshel has lived in Arizona for more than 20 years and is a mother of five, three of whom joined the family through adoption. She was born in Denver and earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Metropolitan State University of Denver; she worked as a business executive at the third-largest UPS facility in the country and has also worked as a teacher and preschool director. She is a two-term Republican member of the Arizona House and a member of the House Freedom Caucus. In 2026 she sponsored a bill signed by Gov. Katie Hobbs strengthening the Address Confidentiality Program and its use in divorce cases; Hobbs vetoed two of her bills, including one that would have required science standards to include instruction on fetal and prenatal development. Keshel finished second in the July 21, 2026 Republican primary for two LD17 House seats and faces Republican John Winchester and Democrats Kevin Volk and Hollace Lyon in the November 3, 2026 general election.
