Sally Ann Gonzales
Candidate for Arizona State House – District 20
Arizona · Legislative District 20
Statement
I'm Senator Sally Ann Gonzales. It's been my honor to serve my LD20 constituents for the past 20 years. My mission has been to advocate and protect our most vulnerable citizens, our children and elders. Now more than ever, this is crucial as our country and state face uncertain times and, Arizona's Universal Voucher Program continues to bankrupt our state. I will continue to advocate for Arizona to provide a safety net for all our citizens in areas of health, employment, and our children's education. Therefore, fully funding our public schools and improving the working conditions of our dedicated teachers are a must. I am also committed to expanding vocational opportunities and upgrading our workforce by funding and supporting programs like JTED. Our three universities/community colleges must be recognized, treated, and funded as engines of economic development for Arizona. Clean air and water are essential to the well-being of our citizens; therefore, Arizona must have strong laws to protect and improve our environment., protecting our civil rights are extremely important to me. Finally fighting for and conserving Arizona's water is a must. To further my work on these causes, I humbly ask for your continued support on July 21, 2026.
