Steve Montenegro
Candidate for Arizona State House – District 29
Arizona · Legislative District 29
Statement
On behalf of our great team (Janae Shamp in the Senate and James Taylor serving with me in the House), I want you to know we've been keeping our campaign promises to you. We have perfect 100% pro-life, pro-2nd amendment, and pro-taxpayer records. I was privileged to be elected Speaker of the House, giving our district a powerful voice on issues that matter. A lot of good bills are vetoed by our radical left-wing Governor Katie Hobbs, but we continue to champion the citizens of Arizona. I wrote the bill designating drug cartels as terrorist organizations, legislation to protect our kids, and a ballot initiative to do away with Affirmative Action and DEI policies. We passed tax cuts, worked to lower gas and utility prices, protected school choice, and fought to keep our kids safe, including legislation to keep men out of girls' sports and locker rooms. I've been awarded Friend of the Family, Hero of the Taxpayer, Legislative Champion, Guardian of Arizona Families, Champion of Term Limits, Conservative Hero Award, Guardian of Small Business, School Choice Champion, and I was named Legislator of the Year by the Arizona Republican Party. Thank you for allowing us to serve you!
