Statement

To the residence of LD 16. I want you to know that my top priority is you. I have worked tirelessly to improve our roads, fight for our water, fight for funding for our local veterans. I've been a strong advocate for children, law-enforcement officers, firefighters and our emergency responders. I'm proud to say that I've had many successes! Including securing funding for the I 10 corridor and SR 347! I have also created legislation that helps promote safety ! Recently the governor passed my bill the turquoise alert to help find missing indigenous people I will continue to fight for LD 16! It has been an honor to be your state representative! And I thank you in advance for your support because I know together we can make sure that Pinal County has everything. It deserves everything it needs and I'm grateful to all of you.

Biography

Rep. Teresa Martinez was born and raised in Casa Grande, the heart of Pinal County. Teresa is a single mom of a 23 year-old son. She is the oldest of 5 children and her dad was a miner at the San Manuel Mine. Rep. Martinez has a long history working in politics, holding multiple positions for two Members of Congress and for the former Republican Arizona Secretary of State. Before getting into politics, Teresa worked as long term substitute teacher at her alma mater Casa Grande Union High School for several years and at the Frito Lay factory in Casa Grande.
