I am running to serve as State Representative for LD 25 because for years I have worked to ensure success in our local community, and now I want to bring that same commitment to the state level. As an educator and leader, I have spent my career helping people succeed, building strong foundations, and bringing communities together to solve problems. In the legislature, I will fight to ensure that every student, school, family, and educator has the resources they need to succeed. I will also work to make sure Arizonans can afford to live in the communities where they work, strengthening local economies and supporting families across our state. I am committed to protecting the air we breathe and the water we depend on, so they remain clean and available for generations to come. Most importantly, I will lead with common sense and respect. Our communities deserve leaders who bring people together, not drive them apart. I will work to heal divisions, listen to all voices, and focus on practical solutions that improve the quality of life for every Arizonan.
Biography
Tiffany Byrne has lived in Arizona for more than 30 years and spent more than 20 years as a classroom teacher before moving into educational leadership. Her platform calls for moving Arizona off the bottom of national education funding rankings, supporting neighborhood public and public charter schools, and adding accountability and fiscal guardrails to the universal ESA voucher program. She also supports workforce training, small businesses, expanded housing options from rentals to ownership, science-based water management with transparent oversight of water allocation, and protecting voting rights. Byrne ran unopposed in the July 21, 2026 Democratic primary and is the only Democrat on the general election ballot for the district's two House seats. She faces Republican Reps. Michael Carbone and Nick Kupper in the November 3, 2026 general election.
