Statement
America has to protect its citizens by ensuring it enforces its border and immigration policies and stands up for law enforcement. I am avid hunter, gun owner, and strong 2nd amendment advocate. I will fight anti-gun advocates' efforts to limit our freedoms and will always support our constitutional rights. I am PRO LIFE, and will continue to strongly oppose any public funding for abortion. I support choice in education. Parents should choose the right education for their kids. I am dedicated to ensuring every child gets a great education and Universal ESA remains one Arizona's primary options. The colorado river watershed drought has been devastating to systems ability to deliver what's allocated. Saving the system with a seven state solution in part with the federal government will be the driver in Arizona water policy. Those areas that do not use surface water will be under scrutiny as we plan for future growth. The beneficial use of water for Agriculture producing more crop per drop with the utilization of conservation technology and augmentation for smart growth are among my top priorities. I have legislation to strengthen voter ID laws, stop ballot harvesting and properly maintain our voter rolls to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat.
Biography
Tim Dunn is the incumbent Republican state senator for Legislative District 25 and a lifelong resident of the district who grew up in a farming family. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in agriculture and farms in Yuma with his wife, Eileen; they have two sons. In the Senate he has served as vice chairman of the Natural Resources, Energy and Water Committee and on the education, military affairs and border security, and Joint Legislative Audit committees. His platform emphasizes Colorado River and agricultural water policy, border and immigration enforcement, Second Amendment rights, opposition to public funding for abortion, universal ESA school choice, and voter ID and voter-roll maintenance. Dunn ran unopposed in the July 21, 2026 Republican primary and faces Democratic nominee Laura Huber in the November 3, 2026 general election.
