Statement
Arizonans need someone in their foxhole. We need someone who will show up and have our back, no matter what. America’s promise is slipping away. We’re less safe. We’re spending more to buy less. We aren’t sure our children will have a better life than we did. But I have a deep and abiding faith in this country and I believe we can renew that promise. America’s promise is the freedom to live as you choose. It’s the unbridled opportunity to rise, no matter where you come from. It’s the security that comes from creating peace through strength. We need a leader with the courage to speak the truth, no matter the consequences. We need a leader with the clarity to grow our economy, reform education, protect our borders, and strengthen our position on the world stage. I’ve taken on tough fights against radical islam and COVID-19 shutdowns. I’ve served our country in uniform and I’ve served this community as a physician for over 25 years. As a member of Congress, I will never back down from a fight for America or my community. I’m proud to be husband to Gada and father of three beautiful children.
Biography
Dr. Zuhdi Jasser is a Republican candidate for Arizona's 4th Congressional District. A physician and U.S. Navy veteran, he earned his M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1992 and served as a Navy officer from 1993 to 1999, receiving the Meritorious Service Medal for service to the Office of the Attending Physician of the U.S. Congress. He has practiced primary care medicine in Arizona for over 26 years and served as a two-term U.S. Senate appointee and vice-chair of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF). He founded the American Islamic Forum for Democracy and is a prominent voice on national security and civil liberties.
