Biography
Sine Kerr is a Buckeye farmer who, with her husband, Bill, built a family dairy herd over four decades and now runs a cow-calf operation and grows forage crops. She represented Legislative Districts 13 and 25 in the Arizona Senate from 2018 to 2025, serving as Senate Majority Whip and chairing the Natural Resources, Energy and Water Committee, and was prime sponsor of the Arizona Women's Bill of Rights, which Gov. Katie Hobbs vetoed. After leaving the Legislature she served as Arizona's state executive director for the USDA Farm Service Agency. On July 31, 2026, Andy Biggs named Kerr as his running mate for lieutenant governor. At the Oct. 5, 2026 Clean Elections lieutenant governor debate with No Labels candidate Angela Harrolle Mohan, which John Giles and Lisa Castillo skipped, Kerr criticized Hobbs' economic and water record, said Arizona has water sources beyond the Colorado River, and backed Biggs' proposed $19 billion federal Colorado River infrastructure bill. The Biggs-Kerr ticket is on the November 3, 2026 general-election ballot.
