Each Arizona legislative district elects two State House members. Representatives serve two-year terms and share legislative responsibility with one State Senator from the district. District 3 covers Northeast Maricopa County: parts of Phoenix, most of Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, Rio Verde, Cave Creek, Carefree, New River, Anthem.
